Event Information

The 2001 NHK Trophy is the last competition of six international senior events of the ISU Grand Prix Series of Figure Skating for Ladies, Men, Pairs and Ice Dancing. The competition, organized by the Japan Skating Federation (JSF) and co-organized by NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) will be held in Kumamoto, Japan from November 28th to December 2nd, 2001.

 


The Competition will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations 2000, the ISU Special Regulations Figure Skating 2000, the ISU Special Regulations Ice Dancing 2000 and the ISU Communications. The Technical Announcement for the “ISU Grand Prix Series 2001/2002” will be valid for the 2001 NHK Trophy. All competitors, referees and judges must be eligible persons in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations 2000, Rule 102 and must be entered through their national association.

Spanish Medley as described in ISU Communication 1109.
Type: Any 2 or 3 of a dance in Flamenco style, a Tango (any type), a Paso Doble, and/or a Waltz (which should be performed in a Spanish manner). Any appropriate tempo and time signature.
Free Dance 4 min., plus or minus 10 sec., As per ISU Special Regulations Ice Dancing 2000, Rule 510, ISU Communication 1109 and all pertinent ISU Communications.
